I recently saw a video about a table that was designed by Daft Punk, and I got really inspired. So today I went out, and collected a few materials that I would need to make a prototype of a table. I still have some more materials that I have to get, but I plan to continually update the blog as I get farther and farther on the project. If this works out well, and I have a lot of fun doing this, then I might make more things in the future.

ReplyDeleteI am actually just about the buy my LED's for this project. The page is all loaded up, and I am ready to press send, but I wanted to know what everyone though of my color choice first.
Also, millas and anyone else who would like clarification, this is just the prototype. If everything turns out well on this project, then I am going to make a full blown coffee table out of this thing (and it would be an 8x8, not a 5x5). I am going to put some effort into this, but I am not sure how many designs I am going to make. I am thinking maybe a minutes worth of animation before it repeats, since I will have to do them all over again for the larger design.
But who knows, it is all too early to decide.
Question: How do people feel about blue LED's? (I am going to do it either way, I just want to know what everyone else thinks)
